| The Magic Catastrophe forums have been relocated to a safe place.
They are located at a new link which is completely server-side password
protected because of spam attacks. Without a unique username and password
you cant even see the homepage. So. No more spammers. Spammers cant
even get to see the forums, let alone join them.
The forums can be accessed by clicking on the link below: You cant get there yet until we give you a username and password. To existing members. Do not worry! Please come back in a few days and we will have an email address for you to state your forum name and then we will issue you a login to the password protected area. Then its business as usual! Off you go to the forums without any spam members. To new members. So how do you join? We will set up an email address for you to contact us and request to become a member of the Magic Catastrophe Community. We will only have genuine people joining. We will deduce this by profiling you and getting to know you before we invite you to join us. This will be through emailing us and stating your case together with answering some subject specific questions and whatever else we may require. Why join when you dont know what the forums are like because you simply can't see them? We're working on this To spammers. From now on our forum will have no more spam members. Because the forum is sealed behind a password protected area there can be no more Google indexing of the forums and this removes most desire to spam and therefore most spamming problems. If you fool us into thinking you are wanting to be a genuine member and we give you a username and password and you make it past this point, no-one in the forum will click on your spam links or pages or pay attention to your profile because its all shut off from the general public and the people who are active in the forum dont care for spam - so spamming objectives have failed and the community lives on. And Finally. A BIG thank you to our existing community members and a huge thanks to the forum moderator team, especially Radiant Star who has been battling the spam more than all of us - your ongoing support has been greatly appreciated!
